Dr Irfan has MD (MBBS), PhD, MBA background and has worked, studied and lived in over 6 countries: He was born and grew up in Dubai; completed medical degree from Aga Khan University, Pakistan; worked in genetics and stem cell research at University of Toronto, Canada; completed clinical translational year in Dubai Medical College, Dubai; worked as clinician scientist in Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar; completed PhD in Epidemiology at Karolinska Institute, Sweden; Diversity Fellow for MBA at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University; currently Assistant Professor and Director of Research Development at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Michigan State University, and Advisory Board Member, Silicon Valley Innovation Center (SVIC) Health Practice, Infineon Technologies AG.
