Dr. Tanvi is an Assistant Professor of Health Economics at the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. Her expertise lies in the application of econometric tools in Health Economics, Food and Natural Resource Economics, Development Economics, and macroeconomic issues. She has received notable fellowships and awards, including the University Grants Commission Post-Doctoral Fellowship and the Role Model award from the Swami Vivekananda Study Circle.

Actively involved in professional bodies such as the Indian Health Economics and Policy Association and the Indian Economic Association, Dr. Tanvi has published research papers and book chapters in reputable national and international publications. She has also delivered invited lectures and serves as a Resource Faculty of Health Economics for the Masters of Epidemiology and Public Health program at the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai.

Dr. Tanvi is engaged in multiple research projects funded by esteemed organizations like DST and ICMR. Additionally, she contributes as a Resource Person and member of the Monitoring Team for street food hygiene and social security schemes implemented by the Punjab Government.
